High amperage electronic solenoid switches allow heavy cable runs to be shortened by eliminating the need to route cables for convenient operator access during manual switching operations. Shortened cable runs save labor and material costs, reduce weight, and deliver higher circuit voltages. Using a solenoid in an engine starting circuit or as a battery switch in a DC distribution circuit, allows the operator to activate the circuit from a remote location.
