This is a very flexible, lightweight, thin-walled PVC hose reinforced with a vinyl covered steel wire helix. The white PVC wall is further reinforced with a nylon mesh, except for the 3/4" size. The interior is smooth-walled for unimpeded flow.This hose is almost as lightweight as heater vent hose.

Electric or manual bilge pump intake and discharge
Drains - sink, shower, scupper (but not below the waterline at any angle of heel)
Livewell inlets and above waterline drains
High flexibility makes this hose easy to install where others can't take a bend
Stretches and compresses for minor length adjustments
Resistant to mild chemicals and saltwater
For added clamping protection, can be used with Shields Series 142 left-hand threaded Vac Cuffs (sold separately, e.g. Order#177524)
Do NOT attach to thru-hull fittings below the waterline
